Errors on Trying to Run Standalone

    Hello,

Please forgive me if this is the wrong place to post this as I could not find a help/support spot in the forum.

I've tried to follow every tutorial and guide i could find for getting the FFR standalone to run but it throws a bunch of errors and hangs forever when I try to launch it.

I get a window like this:

    Total: 1/5
    Playlist:Error
    User Data: Error
    Site Data:Error
    Noteskin Data: Complete
    Language Data: Error

Any help would be appreciated. I really miss this game and just want to be able to play it again.

    Hi!

We do have a Bug Reports and Suggestions forum but no worries on this thread not being put there. It happens, and I can move it for you. Generally the issue you're having gets brought up in our Discord server so we have a solution pinned in our help section there. I'll post it below for you.

"You are using TLS 1.1 on Internet Explorer. Follow the instructions here, and then try again."

Please note that even if you don't use Internet Explorer as your active browser its settings can still affect how the game loads. Let me know if this solves the issue you're having!

Thanks for the reply! Sadly, enabling TLS 1.2 did not fix my issue... an interesting clue came out of it though. I found that when I try to go to the FFR website in internet explorer, it does not work and says "This page can't be displayed".

I noticed that you've been going over this in the Discord server now and that there's a dev looking into it on our end. We'll see if there's a fix in place later today but I'll keep an eye on the conversation there as well. Thanks for your patience and willingness to troubleshoot with us!
