    Low FPS Problem

Hi! I think this is my first ever forum post in my near 6 years of playing FFR!

I never used to care, but with notice of the new engine(and the legacy not being the regular anymore)

I saw the new client was more slick and runs no problem at 60FPS or higher, but the new graphics actually make me more bad at the game and I don't think I'll adjust..

I'm a user of the legacy engine, for some reason i play a lot better when i use it, but the issue I'm having is i don't even think it runs past 15 FPS which is a problem as it jumps/skips and i can only keep up with so much before i just stop pressing keys because i really feel like I'm not enjoying it or will improve my skill level. *Been playing like this for 5 years and didn't care until now*

Is there any way to fix low fps on the legacy engine? I've done a little searching and can't seem to find a solution, I've looked around for the standalone player and that didn't work for me.

    Cheers~

The legacy engines were intentionally made to lag so that players would use the new engine instead. They've taken pages straight from the apple playbook and I don't like it and neither should you

I feel like I and a lot of others would play FFR more in general if the FPS/skipping/lag issues were resolved; I don't think it's exclusive to just the legacy version.

Because years ago I had not hit my skill cap but I've hit my skill cap, i cannot get any better with the FPS issue restricting me.

I know i can get better now though 100%

Have you tried using a Flash Player standalone? I use adobe v9 because it lags less than v10 for me
