    Difficulty score modifier?

Shouldn't you get more points for beating a higher level difficulty song? As it is I get a higher score for FC'ing Mario then I do for beating Final Fantasy....and this just doesn't seem right, the latter obviously takes more difficulty. Thus my Grand Total Score is weakened by challenging myself.

I'm thinking maybe a 10% bonus to score per difficulty level is in order? So beating, say, a ))))) song gives you +50% score?

The number of steps determines the max possible score. Since harder songs have more steps, it works out in the end.

No, no it doesn't. Because on a 300-step easy song, I can FC the whole thing, but on a 600-step hard song, I can't get a 300 combo, so that means less points. FC'ing easy songs is easier than doing decent on hard songs - with all those steps in there it's a LOT easier to get a miss.

Oh, so your above idea states that if you beat Rev. Etude, then your scored is doubled?

It doesn't matter. Highscores are useless with the current scoring system anyway.

Plasmix: Essentially, yes. Don't you think that a 100 combo on Revolutionary Etude is infinitely harder than a 100 combo on Mario? Yet both are scored the same, and that's what I don't think is right.

            Arch: Why's that?

              Read my post again.

You obviously are blind, because the reason was blatantly in the post.

Yes, I am obviously blind. It's quite easy to play Flash Flash Revolution when you're blind. It's also quite easy to participate in message forums when you are blind.

Maybe you could offer an explanation this time?

you said it yourself. the max combo basically determines the score.

I like the DDR/SM/DWI scoring systems better. More real (of course).
