Moved technology.
Forum subtitles are a possibility. But likely only for those which do not have subforums.

Categories will be getting their own subtitles as well.

I miss all the cute descriptions the forum had, now it looks so................ blah.

I completely agree. The new structure makes the forum seem less hospitable.

The descriptions were wasted space. Proper titles eliminate the need for any of them. It's more hospitable to be able to find things, not see them described in some "cute" 100% unneeded, nonsensical, most likely inaccurate, ways. Some people would see the old sports one, "No MOBAS aren't a sport" seriously. (I am quoting from memory, it might have been slightly different, but this was the gist of it.)

Descriptions were a waste, and honestly a distraction more than a sign of hospitality. A good color scheme would accomplish this better than any "cute" description ever would. Just my two cents on it.

tldr: Title it correctly and there's no need for them. Ever.

I partially agree with you; the prior descriptions of forum subtitles were a little humorous and unnecessary, but I believe they were also what made the forum more lighthearted than its current state. I like the new forum structure, but I think an accurate description for each sub-forum would still complement the new forum change.

I've thought for years that it was completely ridiculous for non-ffr stuff to be at the top. my only suggestion is to include "Stepmania" and "Other Music Games" in the "Flash Flash Revolution" category, since they are far more related to FFR than they are related to non-FFR video games

my only outstanding complaint is that video games should not go under forum games IMO but its not a big deal

overall its a big upgrade compared to before
