Random standalone crashing bug

So, for a while now, my standalone has been really bugged like I'll start to get random lag or it'll do this bs and close on me. I haven't figured out for the life of me what it could be. I've tried using different versions of flash to try to remedy the problem but it doesn't seem to change that its going to either close or lag on me. The thing is it always seems to happen to me when I'm having a good run on any file and this last time was the last straw. I need help or advice on fixing this. Any and all recommendations welcome, please and thank you.

What kind of specs does your computer have and are you using win 7 or win vista?

There was no way to tell you had such a high end PC from that screenshot though.

Have you ever tried disabling aero while playing? If you set your theme to windows classic it will turn it off. I've always felt like there was some conflict between aero's transparency and flash.

Actually thats one thing that I hadn't thought of I need to give a try next time I try to go on an ffr binge. This last play session I had this happen to me 3 times over the course of around 11 total songs. Shits annoying. I'll update if it changes things for the better I guess.
