Try updating router/modem to latest factory settings maybe? It might not be your computer that is causing the problem if both computers have it. Or if that doesn't work, try factory resetting them? Although, if you do that prepare to set up the modem or router yourself to provide internet.
I would say it is definitely not the computer. It may be the ISP. It may be some funky blocked IP-block on FFR's end and your IP address just so happens to fall in that banned block. It may be something with the router or modem.
You could try seeing if you can access FFR via proxy just to test if you can. If it does work via proxy but doesn't work normally, then it's definitely something with either your ISP (they be blockin' EFFEFFARRRRR for some reason) or your IP address (for some reason, blocked on FFR's servers -- perhaps in a range that spammers used to use???).
If it doesn't even work via proxy (and you've tried a few), then it's definitely something with your connection.
Note you might not be able to do the Flash stuff/etc via proxy but you should be able to otherwise browse the site, use forums, etc... Also note you should probably change your password after having logged in through a proxy.
im on ffr on my phone more than i am on my computer why you hatin bro some people arent stuck at home 25/8
also plop i had this problem once before and clearing the cache worked for me.
I >3 more than I <3 you kno that.
also yeah I'm willing to bet it's got nothing to do with your computer at this point, since both computers are doing it, and it's only one site and the caches are cleared.. it just could not possibly be your computer.
i.e. UNGH called it
if resetting your modem/router and refreshing your IP wont work, and then even the proxy doesn't work, I'd call up your ISP and demand to know what's going on.
If using a proxy works, then either your ISP is intentionally blocking FFR (the proxy bypassed this) or FFR is intentionally blocking your IP address (perhaps it is in a range of IP addresses that were once blocked because spammers used them).
If it isn't on FFR's end, you need to figure out why your ISP is blocking FFR and get them to stop and/or change service providers ASAP because do you really want to be using an ISP that is giving you an arbitrarily filtered version of the Internet when you're paying for the full thing?
It really would help if an admin would post in here to clarify if the problem is on FFR's end though (i.e. if the IP address is on a block list on FFR's servers)
