I noticed that the status bar (the squiggly line that at the top while playing a song, also known as rate meter, I suppose) has a transparent back to it. I was playing a Last Firstborn earlier, just sorta messing around, now trying to do great, so a lot of times, the bar was towards the middle. when I tried to glance up, it was a bit hard to see the meter some times, becuase of the background color. The background image showed through to the part of the rate meter that wasn't covered with the actual line. It's much easier to read on songs with a black background. So I propose that you just add a black backgrond right behind the rate meter, so it'll always be easier to read.

I don't look at the bar straight off, but it's nice to be able to see out of the corner of my eye how bad I'm failing :P

you can tell by the colour alone, you dont need to look all the way up, if your so impatient then keep looking at the meter, but i think you should be like normal people and just wait for your score at the end

i know that i count my goods as i'm playing... so that if i pass my best score on a song, i just kill myself and restart... or if i get too many early on i restart... but, even that is very distracting, and sometimes makes me hit more goods.
