    Why All the Techno?

Why are so many crappy techno songs included in this game? Before anyone gets pissed off, I'm not saying that all of them suck, just alot of them. Any song where all you do is press arrows along to barely changing beats is pretty lazy and worthless. I guess the suggestion is less bad songs in the dance section, and more varied kinds in all the others... or more SuperGreenX in the Dance section... all of his are good.

A reason those songs can be so "crappy" is because they arent made by super duper mega artists like MC Mario or whatever.

Hey don't you mean MC Chris?

You know. He's the rapper who did "Fett's Vette." Ya know he had a song on Aqua Teen Hunger Force too (he was called MC peepants for those who saw the epsiode)

It might possibly be because most songs on DDR machines/games were all techno/trance. Just maybe.

Also, it's because Techno music is perfect for stepfiling with its easy-to-read BPM and steady patterns.

Hip-hop is stupid; it's essentially some guy talking about something related to one of the following: 1) Women. 2) Drugs. 3) Government (police). Arcade is sweet, Classical has one real stepfile, Purchased is good, Secret is the best, Funk is pretty bad, and Miscellaneous is the worst of them all.

            Any questions?

As evidence by him having a CD out before any of the actual American Idol participants even got teh chance to get signed -_-

                  That's life for ya =P

Anyway, "More super green x"? did you not notice that that's who does HALF the songs int eh techno section? (Well, it seems like it anyway).

I realize this is probably just a way for the topic poster to say that he wants more arcade/classical/etc songs, and so i shall ask him to refer to the FAQ. Ie, there are not other songs because people havn't MADE them. It's not like Synthlight has hundreds of readily available stepfiles and chosoes to tourture us with "bad techno", or that he can magically wisk a stepfile up. These things take time, effort, and -some- degree of talent to create.

So until YOU want to create the stepfiles to fill the void, S, T, F and U

Yeah, new songs aren't bad, but they've put out a lotta of em, and there is a lot of songs. (period) So, yeah, stop complaining. There are plenty of songs to choose from. Be grateful

I'm not making fun of your game, I'm making fun of the inability of some people to make a good techno song, then someone else making an inevitably bad stepfile out of it.

If you think they make bad songs, why don't YOU make your own and submit it? Or try getting a "good" artist to submit a song for free for FFR. If the steps are so bad, be my guest to step any song you can find or make...good luck...
One day there will be a really cool sig here. But not right now.

I'm sorry, but learning those "barely changing beats" is the point of the game. And techno has probably the most various beat steps of probably any genre. Rap music has like the same dum-cha beat through the entire song, which is why I hate the rap section. I really like DMX though, but he would probably never give a song for free.
