Attention all steppers!

Have a few questions for steppers for FFR and/or SM alike. This small survey applies to any stepper.

1. Have you been consulted by other steppers for your help? [yes/no]
2. If yes, how often have you been consulted for your assistance? [regularly, sporadically, every day/week/month, etc.]
3. Out of those whom you have helped, how many are relatively new at stepping? [approximate ratio if possible - e.g. 3 out of 4 steppers are newbies]
4. Have you gave structured reviews to individuals and/or packs? [yes/no]
5. Have you submitted files on FFR? [yes/no] If any were accepted, how many files have you successfully stepped? [# of files]

Final question, and the reason why I'm asking:

6. Are you interested in reviewing submissions for FFR?

p.s. Please explain well - it's great if you go into more detail than just what my requests in brackets are asking. (e.g. if you do give structured reviews, how frequent is it?)

- Yes!

- Not too often. Occasionally someone would ask me to look over a file and help them determine what's wrong or what needs to be changed. Maybe once a week or every few days? Usually over PM or profile chat.

3. Out of those whom you have helped, how many are relatively new at stepping? [approximate ratio if possible - e.g. 3 out of 4 steppers are newbies]

- Usually the people who asked me for help were completely new at stepping, or very inexperienced. What I'm saying here is, they weren't established simfile authors. Most likely, 5/6 were newbies.. ish

4. Have you gave structured reviews to individuals and/or packs? [yes/no]

- Well I've never posted specific reviews (because nobody asked me for structured reviews) but I always subconsciously rate files on SM/FFR and always think to myself, "Hey.. this could be improved in a certain way. "

5. Have you submitted files on FFR? [yes/no] If any were accepted, how many files have you successfully stepped? [# of files]

- Yes, I've submitted files before to FFR (this is not my first account.) So far, only one has been accepted and is currently in game.. PM me if you want know which one it is. :P

6. Are you interested in reviewing submissions for FFR?

- Definitely! Personally I would be very interested in improving the file quality that come in and go through FFR. I've played just about every song, so I hope that counts for something. Also, I can cater to any skill level [1-13].

1. Yes, many people have. (PrawnSkunk, XxOpkillerxX, V-Ormix, Midnight, Elite Ninja, etc. etc.)

2. Regularly. Usually about once a week.

3. I've helped all of them, and all of them were/are new step artists.

4. Yes. FFRPartyy, RF2, etc. as well as a plethora of new step artists.

5. Yes. And only 1.

6. I'd be interested all the way. I have the time to do so.

2. At least once a week, if not more.
3. About half are new, others are just experienced steppers looking for another opinion. Recently, for example, I've briefly helped Zak on his way to his first file, but also done a review for AlexDest.
4. Yes. If I have time, I give detailed reviews when asked.
5. Yes.
6. Somewhat interested, but I've been told I'm too opinionated, which is honestly pretty true. Plus, I'm not sure I would be reliable, I tend to get distracted and fail to meet deadlines.

I'm at what 20-25? My acceptance rate is up there though.

I have given relatively in-depth notes when that is what the person has requested.

Submitted 3 so far, had 2/3 accepted. 2/2 in my last submission.

Are you interested in reviewing submissions for FFR?
I'd be more than happy to offer my services in reviewing files or even as a back-up, should the need arise.

Yeah, many times actually, in a similar fashion than I did with the tournament files.

Nope, but I've got a bunch of files that are almost ready for submission.

Most definitely! Even though I could use of some more practice and understanding of stepping technique, as well as some more experience as a player. But eventually, I'd really love to.

Yes. Also, I try to take the information given to me and pass it on to all the critiques and reviews I give.

None from the public, obviously, since I don't yet have stepartist status. But I try me best to review files for friends and anyone who asks.

2/3 of the people I have helped are relatively new to stepping.

My reviews are mainly structured upon pitch relevancy and fluidity of patterns. I try to give the best technical, and constructive reviews I can. With each review I give, I aim to make that person into a better stepartist.

5. Have you submitted files on FFR?
Submitted 3 so far. One was denied on four [+.]'s a year ago, when I had no idea how to step LMAO, and two of my highly refined files are pending in batch. I am 95% sure that both of these will pass batch with no problem. I have 3 more WIPs for next batch. I am trying my best to make a name for myself as an upcoming stepartist!

6. Are you interested in reviewing submissions for FFR?
Absolutely. This interests me greatly! I always want to do everything I can to make myself a part of this community, even If I am not the strongest player. (1k posts, 60AAAs, fml :P)

1. Yes, Elite Ninja, iironiic, kjwkjw, DragonMegaXX, Sanzath, couple others (also doing a collab with iironiic) (also looked at some stuff of Silvs. also maybe cbr's files.)
2. Sporadically at most. Basically, whenever people ask.
3. Maybe about half and half, been helping a couple new steppers, and looking over more experienced steppers stuff as well
4. With structured reviews, Yes, I've been kinda the lone judge for the TF batch, the other judges haven't really been doing too much, hehe. Although the notes that i've given got kinda lost when the server we were hosting the forums on went down.
5. Yes, hopefully a couple accepted this batch, but 0 so far. Recently stepped about 10 songs-ish in the past month i think?

6. Are you interested in reviewing submissions for FFR? Yes, if I have the time. It's really hard balancing commitment with FFR and school, but I try the best I can.
