I liked the skill token chain process. It was fun working my way up to the top prize, and built up skill being the tokens got harder to unlock later in the chain. Would like to see more chain tokens in the future.
I agree with Corey, Getting the chain tokens was very fun and definitely make you better seeing as they get harder and harder. lol
Would like to see more of them as well in the future!
I proposed an idea for a chain token a while ago, got kinda shot down as the timing coincided with the start of the official. I'd love to rekindle my idea but now I'm a little more busy IRL and with my tournament prep... oh well.
we have way too many skill tokens and not enough token tokens. Not that we could discuss it here though, as stated at the beginning of the discussion..
1) More "milestone tokens", for example, ONI. I know we have St. Scarhand for AAAing Reality, which is great. Nonetheless, it would be nice to have a "AAA a 12" token. I know this has been brought up before, but it generated a lot of argument because some people wanted it harder. The solution? Add 2. Have one for just AAAing a 12, then have another for AAAing a 90 or above (or something like that).
On the easier side of things, we should have more milestone tokens down the difficulty line. Maybe we could have a set of songs like we do for HEAVY for every difficulty down to... maybe 6 or so? I think these kinds of tokens really motivate players to improve. I know for me ONI was a major help in getting me to play more FMOs.
2) Chain tokens, as stated several times already. However, I think we need more of a certain kind of chain token. For example, we could have a jumpstream chain.
Ex: AAA Etude to a Dragon, Seven, Ambient Angels, K8107, and EHHS in a row. To really piss people off, you could throw Pants onto the end of that. Obviously the chains would be better with new songs each time, but this is just an example. Now this may be a terrible idea... but what if you had two or three different stages of mastery, i.e. AAA the chain, SDG the chain, and FC the chain that unlock three different difficulties (light, heavy, oni) of a song that utilizes that pattern?
Anyway, regardless of what gets implemented I think doing SOMETHING in the realm of tokens is a positive thing. So keep at it

The whole fun of skill tokens is trying to do some obscure whatever. If everything is just "AAA blah blah impossible hard song" what's the fun in that (other than for a very few)? Besides, skill tokens should be to make you try for things you're not already likely to try in the course of the game anyway.
You anti-anti-pa people already have reward systems in place -- they're called AAA bar and Tier Points bar and level rank. Let the non-leet have something too.
More achievement tokens gets a thumbs up from me too.

I think i remember an Admin a while back talking about how there wouldn't be anymore AntiPA tokens
