SkRAWRk, The_Toymaker, I like it, and I awein999 are going to attempt for 1 billion points. It is a Saturday and everyone else is encouraged to try with us. And if not try, your support would be highly appreciated and makes the task that much more doable. We are currently planning on making our own personal tiny chat room a day or two before the event and I'll post the link in here then. And we are open minded to skype if that would work well or some other type of location.
I've already gotten a billion in a day before, therefore I am not satisfied with only a billion this time. I will be going for 2 billion using vROFL.

Personal strategy tips for 24 hour bill:
Obviously you need to auto fail 1 miss because you need to combo everything you play. PA doesn't really matter. PA'ing is generally not worth the energy it takes to hit the notes accurately mentally and physically. For me taking planned breaks for a few minutes up to 5 minutes on the top of every hour was a good idea. That way I could play one hour to achieve break time, rather than looking at it as a daunting task of having to play all day. Provide yourself with plenty to drink and eat around you. Sleep a lot the days before. Plan out what you will play and how you play it. You could have two ffr playing screens open at once so you don't have to wait for your score to record. You can just switch from one to the other.
As the goal is to get a billion in 24 hours the task is less a sprint and more a marathon. You don't want to tire yourself out in an hour. Or 2 hours. Or 4 hours. Or even 12 hours. You still have 12 more hours to go after 12 hours. Lets put this into perspective. You need to smash keys for a very long time and after a while you will get VERY tired. Keeping up mashing RATO is probably unrealistic. And even most FGO's will make you wear down much too early unless you are dossar. Even if you constantly play EHHS the entire time you can still get 1.42 billion. Counting some breaks. So no need to rush the billion. Just keep yourself going and go into it with a gameplan.

- Get a new, more comfortable keyboard.
- Get the parents to get the internet sorted out, or, alternatively, purchase an "internet dongle".
- Stock up on Rustler's Burgers.
- Get some soft gloves.
- Buy excessive amounts of Dr. Pepper.
- Get contacts/new glasses sorted.
- Learn to PA FFR again.
- Get [ONI]. (o:
