Apparently, it requires "tensing up" your arms and shoulders, but doing so for a fairly long period of time allows me to go at 110-130 bpm jackhammers for a few seconds only.
keyboard choice is important. what keyboard do you use?
try playing http://www.addictinggames.com/arcade...merthegame.jsp and beating 800

      Re: Vibrating

I think one way to get really good at vibrating is playing Nova Pulser or something. Jacks are a pain for me at times because though I have a consistency on vibrating, I tend to stop way too early. Once you get the feel for tensing your wrist and arm muscles it all goes from there.

True to a certain extent. Playing a lot is going to help a lot more though.

                        Re: Vibrating

The comments in this thread that mention AIM Anthem and Starlight as vibrating files are probably the most grossly misleading statements I've seen about this aspect

Jackhammer madness 1.3 is also a crappy joke. Only a very select few have even passed 1.2 barely (I'm one of them) and it was mainly lucking out on the first two jacks

hi19's post makes the best point in this thread, being that it's better to have controlled jacking. 3 years ago when I AAA'd jackhammer madness I didn't "practice vibrating files". Sure, I did make my own hilarious dumpfiles at that time but I didn't "practice" on them. Vibrating is purely physical and it may not be your forte - some are really good wristjackers but not strong vibrators (good examples of this is leonid and Thaor)

This thread makes me feel weird about the fact that we use the word "vibrate" for something like this. Thinking about it, it seems kind of awkward. I don't play this game much anymore, so I don't really worry about this.

they are definitely not vibrating files, just that someone asked for jackhammers slower than 130 bpm so I posted some

AIM sure feels faster than that, plus it's jumpjacks + framer madness (like reefer madness, but worse). And even when you get the speed down, the anchors...AUGH.
