Well, for the songs by Liszt, some of them were put in the game without actually - you know, getting it by the author. You should find it through an artist we have permission for.

Well, when did Liszt pass away? If it was more than 70 years ago (more than likely, lemme check), then we have permission.

If the person has been dead for longer than 70 years, we have to get permission from the performer as well. If they're dead, they have to be 70 years dead as well (if you can find someone performing this in 1941, be my guest).

That is very true. I mean, we are permission whores, so we may as well. Also, it doesn't necessarily be this permormance, I just chose this one becuase it was the first string-only performance (my favorite) I found.

By all means, there are millions of classical performers out there. It won't be hard to get one. Just shoot someone an email, honestly, and I guarantee we will be able to step a bunch more classical songs.

Yeah, performances we need the permission of the performers...that's why it's so hard for us to get a new version of a lot of this classical that has good quality, because we need the permission for it...

IMO this sounds poopy with a chamber orchestra :/
I much prefer it on piano.


It would be great to get blanket permission from one of today's more prolific piano virtuosos, such as Valentina Lisitsa (my favorite pianist evarrr <3)

I have to say... That was pretty badass. The only reason I prefer the strings version is because my family pretty much grew up with string instruments (I play the violin) so I tend to appreciate those more, (especially cellos and basses!) I have been appreciating piano considerably more recently, due to MBurns bossin' it up.
