How about you practice playing FFR more and get better and when you do, you'll enjoy them. Everywhere I go I see you downing the tier point system. Guess what, you do have good points about a lower end tier point system, but this system was implemented a LONG time ago, where were you?
To some of us it's fun and exciting because it motivates us more, so in essence it's not a waste of time. If a lower end tier point system was made, you'd probably change your mind indefinitely.
Just get enough FFR Users and a petition and **** it, go ask the leaders of the Tier Point System to make one, OR just make one yourself and present it to them or make a thread that you can keep track of with everyone's Tier Points.

As much as I want to agree with you in some things Krunky, I have to be fair...
The current Tier Point system is complete crap because it does not support lower tier players and that some of the higher requirements are indeed near-impossible for most of the players on this site. I COULD fix up the tier points but at this point, I do not even have the motivation to do so because this site have honestly turned into complete crap and it makes me wonder if I even care about this site anymore. Also, I would like to mention that the current Tier Point system is NOT completely my fault (in case people want to pull that card) and here's why:
The original update to the new tier point system was just to update the current songs, at the time, using the OLD SYSTEM but at the same time, adding additional (10/10) or higher requirements to songs that quality for them. Problem was that Sprite- said that he was not able to add (10/10) or higher requirements into the system so then he suggested that we just make the whole system stricter all together so that what we did and look how it turned out to be. I even tried asking lightdarkness to see if he could fix up the code/database side of that but after the hundreds of times I have tried PMing/asking him on AIM, he never responded so that tells me that he did not care enough to respond back to someone like me.
So yeah, if someone on this site have the motivation to fix up the tier points, that would be nice. Actually you know what, how about we fix up the tier points AS A COMMUNITY? Like we could literally make a thread about it, post the current tier point system and people on this site can point out the things that we need to change/add into the current tier point system. This will prove that the community is more important/smarter than just a group of staff members who think that they know what is best for the site.

The idea is great, the system is crap, and they need to have some bearing on a third rank (or factor into one of the current two ranks). That is my opinion.
If we have an overhaul of the system and they begin to have some kind of bearing on a rank, I think more people will find interest in them. I don't bother with them right now because there isn't a rank attached to them so I have to legitimate way of comparing mine to anyone else's on a broad scale.Last edited by justin_ator; 09-6-2011, 07:07 AM.
