I am making this thread for a few reasons:
1. This thread will be open to any and all FFR players that also have StepMania. You can also post and/or reply to this thread if you do not have StepMania. That is just fine.
I'm not making this thread open for just certain people. It's open to all, which means it's a free-for-all kind of thread.
Just please make sure that you do not spam anything. I can't stand that.
2. Those that have StepMania are free talk about their scores, their original stepcharts, how many stepfiles they have, where they got the stepfiles they have, etc. Bragging rights for everyone
, but please keep the gloating within reason and down to a minimum and please try not to be obnoxious about anything - that's just annoying and rude to a lot of people.
3. Advice is welcome.
I'm not trying to be a petal-pusher here, so please, feel free to give out tips and tricks on how other people can improve their own skills and abilities on both SM and FFR. Obviously, FFR veterans more often than not would have more collective wisdom about one or the other or maybe even both, so I am asking the FFR veterans to not give away too much information on either one of the two unless deemed absolutely necessary (this also applies to non-veterans.) This means no revealing where the normal tokens are at or how to get them. Sorry,
but that's a rule of the site that the mods and admins enforce very seriously here.
4. Feel free to talk about your favorite song/s, favorite music artist/s, fave stepfile/s, etc. Debates on these topics are admired, but please make sure that you do not offend anyone with the way you might state your own opinions on each, as negative arguments can and oftentimes will lead to minor and/or major problems between members, so I expect you
to NOT BE RUDE, CRUDE, LEWD, VULGAR, INDESCENT, OBSCENE, SUGGESTIVE, RISQUE, VILE, FOWL, OR OFF-COLOR IN ANY WAY, SHAPE, FORM, OR FASHION WHATSOEVER (and yes, those words are terms describing language).
This will be looked for very carefully.
5 (This one's kind of long).
Ideas are welcomed and encouraged. Don't be shy.
Share your own concepts/ideas on FFR or StepMania.
People like it when you're topical sometimes. Just make sure you don't go overboard with your thoughts.
I know that that can be difficult for some of you sometimes, but at least try to give it your best effort to not go too over the top.
It's always important to be mindful of others and any ideas they might have. If you don't like their idea/s or if they don't like yours, don't just go like this
and insult them about it. That's what I call being ignorant and rude >
If you don't like someone's idea/s, just politely say that you do not agree with the idea/s and give them a reason as to why you might not think their idea/s may not be so great. If they don't like yours, just kindly ask them why they might not. If you like someone's idea/s or if they like yours, just say thank you or say "I like that idea" or something of that nature. Please be courteous to others, and they'll be courteous back. I am also aware of the fact that some people - not all of them; don't get nervous - don't like to be courteous or just simply refuse to be courteous or maybe even might never have learned courtesy
. If you run into anyone like that, or if you yourself are like that, just try your best to be polite, please and thank you.
Lastly, you can also ask questions on where to get certain stepfile packs or SM themes and/or other add-ons, as well as reveal where these files and/or add-ons might be located on the net, which brings me to the first request of this thread (The following can be used as an example of what I have mentioned earlier about courtesy):
I am looking for a certain stepfile that I used to have at one point in the past, when I first got StepMania. But ever since a virus attacked my computer a few months later, I've never been able to recollect this stepfile
. I am looking for Akihabara Nerd Rule from m1dy, a stepfile made by CAOS4EVER. If CAOS4EVER is a member of this site, I sincerely request a pm to me containing your stepfile if you haven't already erased it from your hard drive. As a couple of back-ups, if anyone (and I mean ANYONE) does not have this stepfile but knows or might know where to get it, please post the link on my comment wall. If anyone (again, ANYONE) already has this stepfile and would like to share it, just upload it to Mediafire or someplace then post the download link on my comment wall (I check it every day
), or just pm it to me. I will be forever grateful if and/or when you do so, and I promise that your kindness will not go unrewarded
. As you can see, I'm pretty desperate for this stepfile.
Well, enjoy.
Oh! I almost forgot one more thing
Please, please, PLEASE keep the language as clean as possible. This is not a thread to be talking about sex, drugs, or anything of that nature. If I see anything of that nature in your posts, I will either edit your posts or remove them completely. However, I will accept those kinds of posts IF AND ONLY IF THEY RELATE TO THE THREAD. I will be stressing this quite sternly. And above all, PLEASE RESPECT EACH OTHER AND FOLLOW THE RULES THAT I HAVE MENTIONED ABOVE BEFORE MY REQUEST. ALSO REGARD THE RULES IN THIS PARAGRAPH WITH COURTESY.
Thank you, and have fun.
