    To Request a Song...

    I was just wondering if it was possible to request a song, I really want this song to play on FFR. Please! is it possible?

    I would suggest finding a file for StepMania if you wish to play this song. The likelihood of it being added is as close to zero as you can fathom.

      Getting a song on FFR isn't as simple as taking any song you like and making steps for it. You have to get permission from the artist - in this case, Simple Plan and the vocalist - to use the song. Just about all songs on FFR are by artists who provide free use of their songs which we can obtain by their websites or CDs. Popular artists such as Simple Plan will almost always require permission by their record label, and these large companies will usually never provide permission, even if the artists themselves would not mind having their songs on FFR (think: $$$).

      You can try obtaining permission for Simple Plan by doing some research, finding their email, and sending them a message requesting permission for the usage of their songs. It's unlikely that you'll get permission however.

      We're lucky to have a few well-known notable exceptions, but those are rare. But that's also why it never hurts to ask.
