simfile database will never come back
however, there's a database at http://bemanistyle.com/

it has been said that the gambling hall might make a return one day, but I don't see the point in having it return at all

Does this mean that anyone who has uploaded simfiles cannot retrieve their own stepfiles either? I reinstalled my computer thinking it would someday return...

sadly yes. that means that you wont be able to download your own files

I think FFR still has simfile data, but the system of getting our own files isn't done yet.
