    yeah I noticed I have this need to move my middle finger up whenever an up arrow comes along. just a habit I'll have to try and break

      I've never personally tried seriously to adapt to concave, but I hear it's easier on the hands.

        Same set up, same problem. I wonder if there is some physical reason for it. Either that or we both just suck at right handed trills.

            concave is more natural to me... my fingers are normal though (as in my index is shorter than my ring) my fingers just fit scnk better than askl cuz my index finger is at like full extension playing that way

                  There's a number of people who play one handed -- it's their starting style. It just takes a little bit of experimentation with other styles. I started as a one handed player when playing (as did a lot of other players), after eventually learning index, and then spread.

                  Spread style is the most efficient for FFR, and learning spread style on FFR will eventually give you the foundation for learning more than 4 keys. Alternatively, you could always play Stepmania or some other simulator and build your skills there while learning your new style.
