Background in Marrissa makes game lag uber bad

So, on all my comps, (windows XP), playing on Flash Player 9, Marrissa's background movie makes it lag so bad you cannot hit a note without every other one being a good or average, it's terrible. MUCH worse than party4u, and this is just for lag. I am suggesting the video be removed, if it were just 'hey let's have a fun video again! they were only frustrating...', I recall them being banned for causing gameplay issues, and I don't think there should be a song that causes gameplay issues, making it unplayable for some of us, I will never pass it it's so laggy, I kid you not.

This also happens to be the file I've most looked forward to for almost 2 years now, it's in the game, and I can never play it, or enjoy playing it to any extent.

I played it on my Offline engine. Had only the offline engine and i had lag. Granted, first play was about 480 goods with like 30 misses. Within 5 tries i took it down to 60 goods 2 misses and a boo. More than half those goods indeed, did come from lag. I can't understand why it's so laggy..

Have you tried low quality? I also got massive lag yesterday for some reason - and I wasn't the only one.

equally bad on the website, standalone is not the issue, I don't think my old computer can handle it, that's all, but it's by far the best computer I've played on for FFR

EDIT: You can low quality in standalone? I don't play online because even without marrissa, random good and small, but noticeable lag spikes appear throughout the game, that was my complaint when I first got back on after the revival

Hmm, that's weird. I seem to lag like once every few days. When I say lag, I mean the arrows just freeze in place while the song keeps playing.

For me, I'm playing low quality for every song i play and it's fine. Except, when it comes to this particular song, I'll lag.

I'm also playing in the standalone.

I dunno, I see a lot of AAA's on a song I CAN AAA, on a song I WANT to enjoy, and a song I'd LOVE to play, and I get 78 goods and some averages along with other unavoidable crap, it's just not fair, mainly because p4u background doesn't do shit but this ****s everything up

Yeah I'm beginning to lag with the standalone at one particular part of the song. It wasn't a problem the first time it was released.

I run gamebooster and my PA on it is horrible and I know I should have it down to atleast 15 goods by now

Had no lag whatsoever - only took me a few tries to AAA it, and that was before I realized the song had a bad offset, lol

I shall tell you tomorrow, tonight I put my FFR computer away, anywho, I'll try that out as well. As I've said, I'm not mad about the background existing, it's clearly fine for some, and if it was like that for me, I doubt it would be an issue, but...
