Secret Steps?

Okay, so I beat this song with all perfect, right? So I make it to the hi-scores list, right? Wrong! How the heck do people score higher than perfect? It's gotta be these "secrect arrows," right? Now, there's probably another thread like this somewhere on FFR, but if someone could just answer this real quick for me, it'd be deeply appreciated. Okay, how can you tell where secret steps are? Is there any specific way? Or do you just gotta press arrows randomly and pray you get something? I'd suspect there's more to it than that. Is there a site or thread around here that lists where some secret steps are? Thanks.

Seems like a bug of the current engine. I think we can count it gone in R2.

This is very true.

I have hit a couple of these secret steps accidentally, adding to my combo. The ones I hit were at the beginning of a song.

Point is, I perfected a song today and only got 10th place. Here's the one I got today:



Think the FFR people are going to go through and fix some of these problems?

I know all of the secret steps. I hope that they aren't removed from the game. Because right now they are the only way that I can manage to get a decent score.

I dont exactly think they are a mistake, because it seems that many songs end on 0's or 5's , they are just a way to round them out?

ok heres the scoop...play a song and hit an arrow key during the intro to the song....if you get a boo let the song die....if you get a secret arrow (it will say perfect goood average) perfect the rest of the song and maybe you'll get on the highscore board :-/

there are secret steps
i dont remember how i figured out but i remember i was working on the song blank knowing and i think i came up on a glitch
when the song starts on blank knowing wait until ready oges away press left then up and the real song begins
its wierd but it works
