Need help AAA'ing easy songs.

I can totally see myself like all of you playing a level 7 song over and over until I AAA it. But when I play 'Trip To The Moon' or 'Super Mario 8bit Remix' I usually get about 5 arrows into the song and then get a good.

Why is this, are the new songs transfered to the support section weird that way or am I just an idiot? Sometimes I even forget that I'm supposed to hit another arrow while waiting for them to come.

I played SM 8 bit a gazillion times total and never even been close to AAA, though I have been close to AAA'ing Trisection and Ninja Turtles Remix several times!

Anyone else has this problem?

Try playing harder songs like 7-8's and try to full combo them. Once you can do that pretty well go back and try to AAA easier 1-3's.

Also try putting the game on low quality. There is a button with the letter "Q" on it in the top left corner.

I totally do. SM8bit is one of my "warmup" songs, but yet that AAA is far from sight.

Just try and keep focus on the song. I realize that easy songs are horribly boring, and you get distracted easily.

Just try and stick it out through the song. Think of something in yer head that you can focus on while playing. Helps make the time go by faster.

Have you tried modifying your scroll rate? If you go to settings and increase the scroll rate to something like x1.5 or x1.75, then you'll react faster once you get used to it.

If theres lag present in your effort try turning down the quality. should be on the top left corner of the interface. right next to the song list. just click it twice and it should tone down the quality.

as far as overall progression, work on fc'ing harder songs before timing is considered

This. I started working on FCing 8/9 songs, and now I can AAA in the 4/5 range.

This. I've found that more than anything, PA comes with experience. There's not really a good exercise for it that I've heard of.

Increase your speedmod until you're comfortable. Most good players stay at
around 2x.

If it's offsync and you can't AAA it otherwise, then mute the music.

Play on Mirror if it's not a Synth, Nestle or Hyro file.
