A lot of threads are popping up because people are not able to connect to MP. This is a common problem due to how FFR sends and receives information.
You need to open ports 8080 and 8082 for input/output. There are steps to do this in the changelog thread. Check out this thread for more information.
Or you can follow these steps to get in if you can't or won't open the ports.
1) Go to the game
2) Open up MP
3) Wait about ten seconds
4) If you have not connected, hit the little button that appeared in the game window, this will close MP
5) Goto step 2 and repeat the process. Eventually you will connect.

I hope this helps you all out. I know this is a funky workaround but this really isn't a site issue. New security features of wireless networks make it more work for you to use websites like this. And, of course, eventually MP will be worked back into the regular version of the game so you don't have to use the special link.
