So i just got to try dizzy, and mini. Its pretty cool. Mini test your depth perception though, its a toughie. I dig dizzy though. I realised that ive played so many games, my eyes just know which arrow is supposed to go where :O

Tornado is a pain in the ass to me because I watch the columns and not the arowws. Dizzy I can deal with pretty easily.

anyways i found a small bug. after changing a setting and playing a song,if you click on setting again it say that they are all "off",but they are still on the way you had it b4..

My reviews.
Dizzy- not much of an extra challenge, you can just play pretty normally after you get over the shock of spinning arrows. But I have to say, the spinning arrows are badass.
Tornado- doesn't seem so much as a tornado effect as a kind of...boomerang effect. But I assume that's because of the smaller screen. I found this much more challenging, I had to train myself to watch the arrows because like Kilga, I watch the columns. Very disorienting.
Mini- The screen came up, and my first thought was "they don't look smaller." Then they all shrunk, and I literally laughed. Very funny looking arrows. While it doesn't make it harder, it kind of acts as a speed mod on the harder songs in that it spaces out the arrows so they're easier to see, that was very nice.

These features are pretty awesome, to say the least. I can't wait to see what the other stuff brings.

I tried Molto Vivace with mini, and I had to rely very heavily on my experience with the stepfile in Stepmania to get near passing it. It's incredibly difficult to play with mini on FFR. I was hoping it would be like it is on DDR but no dice. EDIT: I WAS WRONG MINI IS AWESOME

The settings are a little buggy. When I change options, it doesn't save all the time. I have to reload FFR a lot to get them to default again.

Also, to reset settings, I just set it to that setting, then back to the default, and that seems to work nicely...

Heh, mini, dark and blink on neo, adds quite a bit to the game (60 combo btw, I suck). Just wish there was something on the results screen that said you used that mod, kind of like stepmania, but maybe symbols or something instead . Alternate highscores would be impossible, but a little recognition for bragging rights, you know =p.

Mini: Fun.
Tornado: Annoying, and I don't know if anyone will play this (much like crisscross), unless Synth gives score multipliers for attempting it.
Dizzy: A nifty change of pace.
Dark: Doesn't work well because of off-syncing on some songs and slower computers. If you're on a fast machine, it's fine though.
