Is anyone else disappointed with the changes?

I played again right after the site had come back up and it seems almost the same, except a little lag. Today, I can't find any of my favorite songs and when trying to do a few tricky songs I failed the right away. I used to play on difficult/tricky all the time before the site went down and now I can barely do standard.
Anyone else feel the same??

most of us that were around for a while played stepmania as well. if you havnt played since the site was down at all, then chances are you arnt going to come back playing the same as when the site went down. as for the changes i think that the staff is working hard on adding new features, working out bugs, and improving on old code. /end my 2cents

I never played stepmania but I played ffr like constantly in high school and finally got to what I thought was good and now I don't even want to play due to the fact that I suck. And all the secret games are gone? I had a ton of them and two of my favorite songs are in there and now they're gone.

And I understand that there are going to be kinks but the fact that the site went from being really fast and coordinated with muti player and such, I'm surprised this is what it's turned into.

all i can say is.. just practice, dont punch things in anger, and give the staff time to get everything organized again. wish i could help more :\

Do you have any credits to even have the secret songs? Because that's the only way you're going to get them.

Also, if you're looking for any songs, just click the S in the top left corner next to the Q. It has the list of every song available to you.

Are you aware that many of the old songs have been moved to a section called the "Legacy" genre (you too m0de)? No songs were actually removed from the game. Please search a little harder.

Also, many of the changes to the game has increased its flexibility in many ways, so if anything, FFR has become more of a playable game than it ever has been in the past. You probably just need to play a bit more.

The lag is probably due to having less servers. I'm sure they don't have to full power that they had before. Another thing could be if you have Flash Player 10. It seems to lag FFR a lot worse than older versions.

It's just the design of ingame genre isn't fixed yet. It's actually legacy genre.

Ah right, that explains it. I like what they did with it anyway, nice to know those perticular kind of songs are in the same genre, good for practicing, for those songs that you just don't see a rytham going, like Vertex Beta VROFL which my grandma AAA'd the other day..

Not me its up and all that matters. It just takes some time to get everything to work just need to be patient.
