Why does my FFR lag?..

I don't understand, I've done just about everything.
To start, I've cleared my history/cache.
I don't have a slow computer at all, everything else is perfectly fine without lag. I do have a mac, but I've always had one, and it's always been alright (As in, before the website went down). I used a standalone, that lagged (And I can't login to it on a mac). I've tried playing on Opera and Firefox, that lagged. I closed all my other programs. I deleted a ton of stuff on my computer even though I didn't have that much stuff to begin with.

What else can I do?

What flash are you using? If you're using 10 that's most likely why. And you probably have standalone version 10.

Yeah, I do have flash version 10. Should I downgrade to 9 or what?

Yes, 9 should make the game run smooth, version 10 seems to give FFR problems. Downgrade is a must.

I've been lagging pretty bad lately, too. I haven't been playing seriously lately, though. So I'm not too concerned about it.

You most likely have the same problem Vanilla did, just downgrade your flash to 9, and clear your cache.

It's seeming to lag even more now. It worked well for like 2 games and then went back to lagging even more. >.>
I have flash 9 right now.

Try getting standalone flash player 8. Out of all the ones that i have tried. That works the best for me.

I found in Google Chrome I lagged a lot, Firefox was spikey and I'd just miss some notes and it would ruin a FC, but IE would run it smoothly. As much as I hate IE... in this instance I must use it

Well, this is odd as **** but flash 10 hasn't really lagged or ruined my playing. I mean sure it lags mid song once in a while and will randomly have lag that should fail me out, but i've learned to read through it. That also comes with playing the game in browser i suppose.

I had End Night AAA'd with this terrible lag all the way up until the last 20 arrows or so and then it just stopped registering my arrows. wtf

Lag, arrows not registering, screen freezing etc... All problems I've gone through. From experience I can tell it's browser related... You can try disabling some addons in Firefox (downloadthemall was the worst for me). Or you can try playing in ie instead.

But ultimately, try playing directly from the swf and tell me if you still have any of these problems
