One that tells FFRers how to optimize gameplay for whatever operating system they're running. Thus stopping threads like this one.
When I used to play FFR on my old dell that ran windows XP, I had no problems whatsoever. The game ran smoothly and without any delays/lag. That particular computer is very old and has many key problems due to it's extended use for playing FFR.
Just recently, (within the last 3 months) I purchased a brand new HP laptop that is running windows 7. Now, I'll be the first to admit i'm not as good as i once was, but I know i'm not missing entire sections of secret zombie room due to not hitting the right keys.
I'm using the in game keymap to make my arrow keys askl.
The main problem I'm having is that randomly throughout songs entire ~5-10 note sections fly by without the keys being registered. The song plays normally, and the file doesn't lag as it's playing. It's as if my keytaps stop registering for a short bit and then start working again.
Any suggestions to fix would be appreciated.
