Did you click off the FFR game screen before the arrows came? That will make your keystrokes not count. It may be a good idea to click on the black of the game screen before each song. I dunno if this is what you did, but I know I've accidently done this many many times.

You should also try other songs and see if its your keyboard or maybe that specific song. FFR is still reviving and bugs on specific songs aren't out of the question. If you only have that problem with that song, PM me what song it is and I'll check it out too.

You could also see if trying different keymapping changes anything. Try using WASD or something to see if that makes a difference.

I can't really think of much else, so I hope this helps in some way

I am also having this problem too

Yesterday it worked fine, but the newer version its not detecting the keys!! :'(

Yes this definitely needs fixed. The keys work fine, it still registers boos, it just doesn't register the actual arrows so it's impossible to hit them!

I realized this has actually been happening to quite a few people, I went on to test this myself and it kept happening to me too. It could be a bug since the site has come on. (Which is probably what it is.) But if the administrators haven't been notified yet, I suggest you do that, unless you already have.

when you load up the game, go to settings and just click set speed, it should fix the problem

The LD engine that is up now you have to make sure your speed mod ends in 5 or 0 and when you put in your speed mod make sure you click set speed. Should work fine.

Note that 5 or 0 means the hundredths decimal place: 1.95, 1.90.
1.6, 1.7 etc will work fine since they are essentially 1.60, 1.70.

Once again this is more or less a problem with the speedmods needing to be "set" before you can even play the game. It's a bug that I've noticed as well and I'll try to see if I can fix it by the next update of the engine.

Can you not just set a default speedmod? It's seeming to give a lot of people problems.

With the new beta that just came out, itz makeing me lag 10 times more than yesterday and i guess itz from so many features..

dudde i been useing FFR since 2003 i know what to do and not to do but this soooo damn new to me
