Quick Question about Subscriptions

If I go into the store, and click purchase, will it give me a subscription?

(In other words, is that part of the site working?)

It should still be the case that subscriptions purchased for oneself (IE, Not gift subscriptions, which ALWAYS needed to be manually processed) SHOULD work and give you a subscription, but I'd advise agianst it right now, as the continued existence and form of subscriptions is still being debated.

I'd mentioned that it was probably best in the short term to just remove the links to the shop outright while everything's being sorted, but I guess that was fairly far down the list.

We are quickly moving away from a revenue model and have not come to any solid conclusions on how to handle existing subscribers. We have been meeting about it nightly and will come up with some solid ideas over the next few days.

ive been subscriber for 2 years and i can tell, non subscribers dont have the same chances at being good as subscribers, no mirror mode, no mute etc. Less non subscribers stay on the site cause they see their game is not being updates etc.

I for one will not be subscriber for a long while for financial reasons. Just add ads if you need money i doubt anyone minds it.

I'm sure there's always going to be those who want to buy subs. I just recently set up a PayPal all for the possibility that I could buy a sub and would be all for paying my money for the cause. Back when I had it, it was one of the best things ever.
I do realize the choice is up to the admins, but I figured I'd toss 2 pennies on the table.

I remember I just got a new 3 or 6 month sub before the sight went down and it expired before now and I'm sure it's the same situation for many other people. Let me know what I have to do to get the subscription benefits back when you figure it out
