Where to start

Since I am already decent at Stepmania, what do you think I could do here?

The hardest I can do in feet is 13 (Depends on song but I have gotten a few As before in it, but mostly Cs and Bs)

Any song recommendations?

well for one thing thats your feet not your hands =P but you do have a really good sense or rythym then. try starting at 7-8 and if its too easy move on to 9-10

7-9.

Start with 7. If you can FC them with ease, move up until you can't. Start trying to FC songs that you previously couldn't, and also try to PA the songs you can easily FC.

Umm...I'm pretty sure he means stepmania as in the keyboard simulator, not many people use pads with stepmania anymore.

And to the OP, instead of trying for passes, try for FCs and AAAs, as they're what most people look for.

Yeah I do it by hands, (index finger on the arrow keys) I dont think I ever got an AAA before... I would always just go for passes. A few double As, and a few AAAs while using the controller on the PS2...

Ill figure something out. I'll see what a 7 will get me first when im not on a laging computer. Thank you

To put it this way, if you've played DDR or ITG, a 10+ on DDR or ITG is the approximately the equivelent (<--SP) to a 7 or 8 on FFR. Stepmania's is an awkward comparison because everyone labels their stepcharts to ridiculous difficulties. People make their easy songs like 15s, they love exaggerating everything. it's kinda unreliable.

Yeah any 10 is considered, IMO, harder than Pandemonium (13) on ITG or Paranoia Survivor Maxx (10+) on DDR. 10s are my favorites, I can't FC anything higher than Very Challenging without mashing. :P
