    FFR Optical Illusion?!

Ok, I'd been playing like 100 games in a row on FFR and 400 combo through a song my black ffr screen starts to MOVE.

True I somehow lost my 400-combo, but..

    Like wtfxbbq?

It seems staring at those flashy blue/red arrows for so long makes your vision go all funny, like you've just watched one of those swirly black and white optical illusions.

Has this ever happened to anyone else? it gets REALLY annoying...
only solution is to GTFO of FFR and take a half hour break lol.

Since when do the arrows flash? I've never heard of this before, go consult a doctor and maybe he'll fire a laser beam into your eye that alters your brains genetic code to make your eyes become super human.

By the way, the first 1.35 sentences were srs bsns.

Never happens to me, happens when I play Guitar hero though.

I'm sorry you view me as retarded, you should work on that.

If you hadn't noticed, I had noted that only the first 1.35 sentences were serious. Maybe you need your eyes checked more than the OP?

          Good day, sir.

You should make an introduction thread in TGB.

Kibblre and blast you guys both suck ****.

You've been looking too closely at the screen, or been playing for too long.

Don't play for a few hours and then come back.

I apologize then, I thought you were referring to his scentences.
                Also, the arrows DO flash.

                  Re: FFR Optical Illusion?!

I remember back when I first played, after the song finished my eyes would continue to scroll up instinctively so that in comparison the score screen looked like it was scrolling down.
I assume your problem is caused by the same problem, strong concentration on an only fairly familiar game. It'll eventually go away with time, and you can help by either taking frequent breaks to slowly assimilate yourself into the game or by simply playing and playing until it doesn't happen anymore (the latter was my solution, but I don't recommend it).

Give your eyes a rest if you're seeing all screwy. Also a way to avoid this, you should sit further away from your screen, it helps to read arrows and stop your vision from doubling.

Sadly this is all I see anymore on the internet and it bugs the hell out of me.
If you think it needs an apostrophe, try using the word "is" in place of the area in question. If your result is something such as, "Have you seen my 360 controller is? I could have sworn I left them in one of my drawer is," you need to reconsider. It gets more confusing when dealing with possessive nouns, but just as Kibblre said you should have learned these things in school.

Back on topic; If you concentrate on objects moving in one direction while a background image stays in place, your eyes will have trouble adjusting after the objects are taken away, resulting in the illusion that everything around you is moving in the direction the objects once were.
