    Categories ._.

I quit FFR when I started High School two years ago, and I recently got back on thanks to a friend... WELL. I was browsing around the songs, and to be honest, after not playing for a long time, I suck. Epicly. But that doesn't mean I can't attempt.

I noticed that some of the songs that are in the "Rock" category aren't rock songs. Panic! At the Disco, Making April, Scary Kids Scaring Kids, those aren't rock. They're more like... emo-popish...

I was going to finish this, but I argued with myself.
Emo is a form of pop punk, which is a form of punk rock, which is a 3-chord-angry version of rock....

    I give up.

hope you enjoyed my moment of stupidity ._.

Don't test me, I'll sick my zombies on you.

I'm sure that you can 'pretend' that songs by those three artists are listed under a category that is acceptable by your standards. This site isn't going to crash because 'OMG AN ACOUSTIC BAND THAT HAS A VIOLIN IS CLASSIFIED AS ROCK.'

And also rock is a VERY broad genre of music, while those three bands might be a bit poppier than other rock bands they are still considered to be a form of rock.

Ps I like Making April and Scary Kids Scaring Kids why you hatin =C

I don't see those types of song in any other categories... Well, there's the "Other" one but it's already crowded. It's not like they're going to add a new category for each genre, the "real" genre is always written for "Song Style" anyway. I'd kill myself if they'd make a new category for each style.

Get permission, get some of their songs actually -in- the game through the submission process, and then perhaps once there's -enough- metal in the game, they may well add in a genre. Adding one in advance doesn't really seem worth doing.

              aye, i'm not hatin'

I love Making April. never really listened to Scary Kids Scaring Kids.

It just never came across to me as 'rock'

but I guess it's just a generalization. Ah well.
