I used askl since the first day i played FFR and yes i have problems with trills in terms of accuracy.

anyway there's this L6 song called Moonlight River which might provide good practice for jumps.

I can't stand normal spread so I use [n m numpad2 numpad6]

For some jump adjusting try
Geno's Forest F-Zero (Skill)
Raindrops (dance page1)

For short bursts
The Color of Battle (dance page2)
That Tethnic Vibe (dance page3) (also has helpful jumps)

For some stream
Life Goes On (dance page3)
Secret Zombie Room (secret)

Mixture
Policy in the Sky (dance page2) (stream, jumps)
Fett's Vette (secret) (gallops, rolls, stream)
Contra- distinction (dance page4) (weak trills)

I also play spread - have done it since I started, basically.
I play with < v num8 and num6 though.. For some reason I play SM better with askl, but I play FFR better with this setup.

Anyway, I'd follow garquillex's suggestion for songs - they look like good ones to get used to.

If I could also throw some out there, maybe try Moonbeam, and World of Dreams from Dance 1 - those are good for getting used to some basic patterns and jumps.

Use QW and numpad 86.

I use as & 56 (number pad) Once you get used to it, its easy

Yeah! I have been having some great success. 3 days I can do fairly well on a tricky song. 5x faster then with 1 hand.
