          The opening is 120 bpm
The fast parts are 200 bpm and 180 speeding up to 200 bpm respectively
The slow part is 70 bpm

Not to get off topic but how is BPM calculated? Is it possible to just listen to a song and count or somehow know what the BPM is? Sorry if I sound noob; I just don't really play SM so I don't know much about BPM.

Mostly, if you use DDReam Studio it will tell the exact BPM for the song and the sync.

                how I synced the song:

                step the song
                put on assist tick
                change it where necessary

                voila it's synced

                  Re: ABCDEath.

if you want an estimate for the bpm between two points of a song, get out a stopwatch and time out the duration of 16, 32, 64 or whatever beats. A power of 2 is good since most songs fall into a structure that follows powers of 2, but obviously if it's 3/4 you'll count out a different number.

Anyway, divide the duration by the number of beats you counted. This is the duration of one beat.
Divide 60 seconds by the duration of one beat and you have the number of beats that fits into 60 seconds, also known as the Beats Per Minute.

make sure to correct for delays; if you started the stopwatch a little behind the beat, end it about as far behind the beat when you stop and if there's still a bit of difference compensate for it. generally the more beats you count out the more spot on you'll be since the human error is more or less constant

Dores assist tick V.S. Patashus math

Technically Patashus way is more efficient, Dores way is just quicker

I use Patashu's way for weird BPMs in electronic stuff.

But guess and check works 95% of the time so it's irrelevant.

Not 100% sure but i think its based on the number of peaks in the waves per second.

you can do that but you can't count fractional beats as accurately as you can count an integer number of beats (which is what's going to happen if you count seconds instead of beats) so I wouldn't recommend it
