Anyone have any insight as to if it is worth it to learn a new speed? I have been playing 1.5 forever but should i switch up?

Only if you're playing the much harder songs.
I play 2x and anything above a 9. Usually.

Most people seem to play on 1.75. Try going up a 1/4 instead of 1/2. Doing so will make the transition easier.Originally Posted by Afrobean

whatever feels most comfortable for you, but ya, raising your speed mod will be helpful on harder songs

After changing the speed mod from 1.5x to 1.75x, I started AAAing FMO songs.Comment

if you are the type of player that plays quite a bit, raising the speed mod will most likely help you get better scores in the long run, but there are plenty of people that play on low speed mods and get good scores.
its up to you but a majority of people do tend to increase their speed and as a result, they achieve better scores
