Well, I was JUST about to AAA BB Evolution, and my Dad came in and screamed at me to get off FFR and study for my SAT. I told him to give me 2 minutes I was going to get rank 1 in the world on a lvl 81 song, but he didn't care. Well, he ****ed me up and made me get 1 good, so I got really pissed at him (I know BB Evo is easy to AAA, I just don't like playing through 5 minute FMO songs to AAA again). I said I was going to get a world record, can't your respect that achievement? Have you ever gotten a world record? He told me that although I have good grades, I have no extra curricular activities and will not get into a good college b/c of that. He says I waste my life on FFR and it won't do me any good. So I told him I bet if I told a college that I was rank 10 in the world on a site with 1000000+ members, they would be pretty impressed, especially if I demonstrated what FFR is and how difficult it is and how much skill it takes. He laughed at me and said he'd pay me 500 dollars if this would actually help me on my college apps.

So will it?

Yeah btw out of those million plus members only about 60,000 are active and even fewer actually play the game regularly.

umm i don't think so. I mean windscarredfaith, Kat, wrote Mod to a site on the internet on her apps, but nothing about being good at the game on it. You should take to your guidance counselor about this.

I have fine SAT scores, my PSAT scores were all in the 99 percentile, and same with when I took the John's Hopkins SAT. They're just really strict and say every minute I'm playing FFR would be better spent studying, which may be true, but I'm trying to prove to them that it's not worthless and the achievement is something that should be praised, not discouraged, I mean average rank 10 is something very, very few member have.

How many member actually have a single digit average rank out of curiosity?

Being good at FFR isn't a skill that can be used in the real world.

You don't see a person getting a job over another because they put on their resume 'OMG I CAN HIT ARROWS REALLY GOOD.'

Not really, there are a lot of people who just haven't played new songs and aren't on that list because of it, or people who have quit temporarily for a month, or people who have even quit altogether. Then you have to take into account the dozens of people that either don't play FFR often or don't even care about level ranks. After all of that, stavie probably isn't even in the top 50.

I knew it was a dumb topic, I made it just to see what people would say, and if there was anything I could say against my Dad, but I thought there wouldn't be, so yeah, he's right, maybe I should just quit and do something that matters
