New Category?
I think that there should be a category for temporarily misplaced songs, because I think it's sort of awkward to find Nitrix (a nu-style gabba song) placed under funk, and also, what is with the support category?

Nitrix is the Funk category because all the new songs go there for some odd reason. And the support category is songs that you get from buying an album. You get a support token from buying an artist album from the FFR shop.

The topic poster is not asking why songs are placed in the funk category; he's just suggesting a new category for these temporary songs. I think a category for temporarily-placed songs is rather tacky. The solution is to just move new songs into their proper categories faster.Comment

there is no need for a new category for temp songs. Funk section is fine because we dont have many funk songs. Just deal with it

i thought subscriber songs were placed in funk, and other songs like from mass releases or special occasions like the 12 days of christmas were placed in hip hop. but don't quote me on that because i could be wrong *shrugs*

No you're correct. SotW (Subbie songs) go into Funk, and mass releases go into Hip Hop.
On the topic; You'll notice if there's new songs in Funk and what not. Also you can tell if you go the song list. Normally the first song with the "*" next to it is a new song.Comment

look at the FFR Song List, and at the top it will tell you what are new releases and what songs are coming and on what day, and what genre they will be placed into. just check that every so often so you can keep up with the new songs.
i vote for placing the songs in the correct category sooner, rather than creating a Temporary genre.
