Re: How... o.O
it helps to have as flat a keyboard as you can. if you have a laptop try that for instancePatashu makes Chiptunes in Famitracker:

Re: How... o.O
ohh god.. that kb brings back nightmares lol.
I dont know how u can play on that... when I switched to flat kb's from that kb, my timing was soooo off. I think its cuz of the slight delay in button registering with those kb's, like the extra time it takes for the key to be pushed down and registered, whereas a flat kb u have the nice clean accurate keytap. I've seen your scores tho your good. Wait, didn't Tera use a kb like that too? Hmm..Comment

Re: How... o.O
Patashu, the Dell SK-8115 USB Keyboard is really good for vibrating too.
I even found a windows 98 pos keyboard and the taps are loud as fuc, but the keys were low and hard plastic so that makes it easier for vibrating too. Any rubber keyboard I use is fail at vibratingOriginally posted by hi19hi19oh boy, it's STIFF, I'll stretch before I sit down at the computer so not I'm not as STIFF next time I step a fileComment

Re: How... o.O
i use that exact same keyboard and it is pretty damn good
other than having a nice flat keyboard i just open up the calculator on my pc and hit 1 + 1 and vibrate my left hand till i hit 100 and over time it will make your arm stronger and fasterComment

Re: How... o.O
I have the same keyboard as Patashu and AOD. xD
That one is fine for me so far, I can almost fully vibrate a 240 bpm right handed jack, and that's just when it's on my lap and not on a flat surface.
I still can't vibrate at all with my left hand >_> A laptop keyboard probably wouldn't help me much as I can't stand to use them since they feel weird.Last edited by Flandre Scarlet; 03-5-2009, 07:40 AM.Playing FFR/Lurking around the forums since Dec. 2004Comment

Re: How... o.O
I had this problem as well. I also found that even a temporary switch to a laptop would result in my fingertips getting quite sore from pounding the light keys. I play on an an older Dell Multimedia USB keyboard.

Has anyone used both this one and the new one for ffr? The newer keyboards are in the labs at school, but I can't really use them for ffr since it's usually quiet.Last edited by musicdemon; 03-5-2009, 08:11 AM.Comment

Re: How... o.O
i use the Dell Multimedia USB keyboard, but i have also used the one oni-paranoia uses and they are about the same. You can also just try hitting the notes and not using all 4 arrows at once... maybe that might help.Comment
