Is it just me or does everyone else fail at AAA's to?
I can blackflagg every damn song but I can never AAA..
I got 2 new AAA's but unfortunatly I got 4 new blackflaggs
I swear by next month I'll be leading in the most blackflaggs on FFR

Adamaja is the eternal leader of blackflags. He had well over 100 at some point...maybe he still does lol.

As for me, I think I have one or two BFs, so I don't really fail at AAAs.

Right now I think I have somewhere inbetween 60-80
I remember having 73 then I started AAA'ing so I was like cool!
then I started getting more and more blackflaggs..

Yeah, this is starting to hit me. I cant AAA anything. Only really good SDG or BF's. It makes me sad. lol.

I have 15 so I'm not that bad. It sucks how 3 of them are challenging and I really want some more challenging AAA's, I only have one.

The condition with me is how I realize I can't AAA anything unless I've already AAA'd it..

And these ads are a partial reason I blame.. because it lags me for like a 10th of a second and I get a good =[[
I miss my subby..
But still I find it practically impossible to AAA songs recently..

if you think about it, it's exponentially harder to get no goods than it is to get 1 good.

Imagine if you had a 1% chance of getting a good on any note and you played a 100 note song.
36.6% of the time you'd get no goods
37% of the time you'd get 1
18.5% of the time, 2
6.1% of the time, 3
1.5% of the time, 4
0.3% of the time, 5
etc
You can see that:
shaving one good off of a high number is a lot (exponentially!) easier than shaving one off a low number
and
at least for this case, you're more likely to get 1 good than none

you also have to consider the human factor; most people get nervous when they get close to an AAA they want, so it's actually better to be oblivious of the fact that you're getting good accuracy

edit: also, if one part of a song is abnormally harder than the rest to PA, you'll find that you might consistently get one or two goods while AAAing everything else. In Stepmania you'd tell if a song was like this because scores would have an abnormally high amount of greats relative to perfs relative to the number of notes total

I completely understand the whole getting nervous thing. I do sometimes get nervous when I'm aware of my PA other times I've completely just played a song and AAA'd not knowing. Those that are less oblivious have been easier.. Those that have harder parts aren't my most concern lol
Slower harder yes.. Faster harder... no.

Use autofail. You're going to be pissed off a couple of times with it but it's the perfect tool to adjust yourself, know where the hell you got that good and fix it.

yeah this too, you can't read visually very well and if you read audially you're hitting on the early part of the perfect window most of the time

edit: I disagree thoroughly about using autofail

it makes you incredibly jumpy about the experience. like trying to navigate through a mindfield

It's not over till it's over. Don't have 95% of a song AAA'd then choke on the last part because you relaxed too much.
