When I am close to AAAing a certain FMO song, I get too excited, my heart beats too fast and I start missing stupid things. What can I do to calm down?

Take a long deep breathe, only thing I've ever learned to do to deal with that feeling that nearly always ends in screwing up an awesome run on some song =/
Doesn't completely get rid of that adrenaline rush, but it calms it down a good amount.

Convince yourself it's never gonna happen.
You have to do it enough to lose hope and desensitize yourself.

All I did to calm myself down was just keep playing, the more I got that rush, the more it went away, you just get used to it.

But I would know I'm doing it in hopes of not getting the rush and getting the AAA, so it wouldn't really work when I'm near the end of the song...

I usually try drinking water.

I'm just saying. I tried for Oni for like 3 months and kept getting nervous and BFing or missflagging or booflagging like 3 different FMOs. Eventually I gave up hope and it worked.

Also, thinking you already got 2 goods helps if you're nervous. Try to convince yourself you got goods in some burstish spot somewhere or something and you didn't see them. Then you won't have to get nervous.

Same. I remember AAA'ing Spontaneous Hydroxide for the first time evoked a great release of adrenaline for me, but now I am only mildly excited when I AAA songs. The more you play, the more commonplace AAAs become.

i actually do this. when im playing C or VC songs and getting close to the aaa, i let out a little and laugh say"youre not going to aaa this song you piece of ****/you bitch/you ****ing suck"

and that makes me lose the adrenaline i was building up and most of the time, i get the aaa

This is what I do.
Not 100% effective, but w/e.

I'll try Tera's method later maybe.
