    FFR Files / Simfile Database

I am a simfile artist & started recently playin' the FFR Game.

    State Your Name, Gangsta:TrueLifeDemi
    What You Represent: 816 Nigka
You Gonna Hold It Down: You Already Know

Ight, First off these FFR files mostly consist of [AIR] a.k.a. Jumps for ppl who play it like DDR. I disagree that these songs are as difficult as they are. Some Make sense but others just needa follow one or two beats NOT ALL OF THEM either way they stepped accurately just not all the sounds at once. Reminds me of PASSAGE D - ONI

so Second? iHate these Simfiles some are puttin' out. I know it takes a Long time or not enough time. Some of these stepfiles need more Time, Energy, Proper BPM ,Rhythem, Style & less of the jumps(if not legitiment), irregular patterns[that's what shuffle is for], less Chaos[if not legitimate unless they are accurate, FOR STREAMS or VOCALS].

these noobs or whateva yall call em needa check with that F4 or something with Stepmania or whatever to see if the CLAPS. Anyways i just feel the songs on FFR are stepped with too much air so they only hard for that reason unless yu just ain't capable or you play with only yur index fingers like myself.

Just Something -I needa new way of playin' cuhz index isn't working to well for these boostie steps. i needa find a tutorial or something. eitherway i've only played the thing for one day and got down to 95,000 so idk if that's good but let me know.

    sincerely,

Whoa dude get a spell check and speak English would you?

But yes most of them have jumps, I agree with spending more time on these instead of producing them in an hour you should take a good week just to make sure it's perfect. And dude maybe 40% of FFR is Anti Index without a heck load of practice.

      OMG i cabt eveb type

**** this thread is horrible. I am typing through tears because I am sad.

EDIT: I would seriously try to add something constructive to my post, but I just can't torture myself trying to decipher your English, and Zybanthia covered all the points I would have addressed already.

EDIT2: Fixed the rating on this thread. 5 stars my ass. Don't do that to your own thread. -___-

EDIT3: Welcome to my signature, but wait, maybe you already knew that lmfaoooooooooooooo

Re: FFR Files / Simfile Database

Okay... to start, you should probably lose some of that text markup. In fact, lose 99% of it. The only use you should make of it is emphasis... a bold word here or there. It's very hard to read through it and I struggled to get the message here.

Ultimately, there isn't too much "air" in this game at all... it just depends on what files you have played. Many people use jumps for layering - if employed well, it gives a good effect. People who write stepfiles - such as yourself, correct? - should appreciate good layering when they see it. If you are a stepfile artist, you should understand this (see what I did with the bold there?).

Now I agree, stepping to too many sounds can take away from what makes a rhythm game a rhythm game - you begin to lose the rhythm with all the 48ths and 117ths and whatnot. But some people like those files... Anyway, some of the files in this game are really old. If you're playing any of the blue noteskin files, then we're all quite aware of the quality.

If you play index, your limitations are a choice of your own. If you want to make things easier, play spread.

Oh, and for future reference, it's called the assist tick.

        EDIT:

Most files can be stepped in a couple hours and perfected over the course of the following one or two days.

you know I can understand the use of maybe one or two formatting types for emphasis of key points

            but this is ridiculous

anyway jumps are easy index. don't forget you can slide your finger to hit two buttons at once or just aim it to hit two buttons that are next to each other. if you position it right you can even hit diagonally adjacent buttons (LU or UR) like that

p.s. passage d oni only steps two things, it's just that one of them gets really really fast very often. iamme's passage d steps three things otoh

Re: FFR Files / Simfile Database

1/ Proper spelling and grammar are mandatory for this forum.

2/ Most stepfiles in the game are built for keyboards, not for pad dancing. The preponderance of jumps is because nothing but stream is simply too easy for the keyboard compared to a pad.

3/ Songs in the game and songs in the database are completely different and should really never be compared.

And yes, most of the charts here have a ton of air because they are specifically meant for keyboard play. Most of the charts in the simfile database are >_>;;, and well--if you can find a handful of pad files in there, you are pretty lucky.

                          2. iMay have just entered but my skill was up to keyboard standards. i learned how to play four fingers later yesterday since then i've ranked alot higher.

so my fault for complaining but yeah the SIMFILES i uploaded some a long time ago under two diffferent names cuhz ppl like Foilman use to annoy me. [haha ur silly for keeping my thing in your signature or w/e that is] so admire it.

I'm not hating on your skill level, or your simfiles, but rather the idiotic way you type and the way you structure your words and sentences. I struggle mightily to understand you, which shouldn't happen, and it is your responsibility to communicate effectively.

I don't understand what you're trying to say here. I do not have anything to do with the simfiles you've uploaded to the database on other accounts and whether or not I annoy you has nothing to do with your files either.

Your communication skills are extremely poor, and I suggest you take some time to clean up your grammar and your spelling because you are literally making yourself a target for flaming and trolling (as witnessed in my first post where I could not contain my laughter at your awful typing).

I could continue on this tirade, but I am sure that you are starting to get the idea. The only way for me (and anyone else) to judge you on this forum is through your typing and you are not making a good impression on me, or the community.

And you're staying in my signature because that was the dumbest way I have ever seen someone start a thread.
