    i need some advice

so ive played 8100 games but i have no decent AAAs. its ridiculous. i used to play two handed but that obviously sucked so now i play one handed. whats the best advice on how to AAA. i wanna have a few very difficult or better AAAs. so far my best AAA is either mario eurobeat or indigo and its embarrasing to say those are my best after 8100 games

First of all, if you wish to extend your difficulty level, you should change back to the two-handed style, whichever you play, but stay as two handed. Excellent one handed scores on furthermore difficult songs are much harder to achieve, when a two handed option could help much more.

Some people take longer than others, and I wouldn't find it embarassing to be able to AAA very difficult songs in 8000 games. You should just continue to do what you're doing, or find more specific advice, such as hand styles and how to practice from other two handed players. If you go back to two hands, you should consider the 'Spread' style, the most common two-handed play.

Dude, you're so negative. I've never seen you make an upbeat, positive post once. Change that.

If I recall correctly, it took me about 15,000 games before I got my first Very Difficult AAA. I sucked balls at this game -- still do.

You have to practice, and you seriously can't whine and complain because you don't get a good score, or you haven't AAA'd an FMO already. **** takes time. I've played 57,000 games of FFR, and I'm barely managing to AAA VCs now. I haven't quit. I don't complain.

Pull up your Pampers, and go play some god damn FFR.

Also, stay with the two-handed style. I'm not gonna say that things are impossible one handed, but scores on VCs and up are much more difficult (yet impressive) to achieve when you play one handed.

If you're one-handed and want to get good: Play often. Figure out a way to hit all basic pattern types reliably. If you just stop improving, though, one-handed might not be for you; it's very hard to get to top tier with it, but it is doable.

see the two handed style didnt work for. my left hand got alot of pains on challenging songs and stuff. i do better one handed in some ways and worse in other. i almost fc'd a fmo yesterday with it and before i would get over 100boos and 20misses. i do better at fcing but two handed i do somewhat better AAAing.

lol i know several people who have AAA'd challenging songs before they hit 5000 games and some of them had several AAAs on them

Do you know how many of them don't play one handed? Stop comparing yourself to them, else you're just impeding your own progress.

Why would you put that in your signature? You've lost your signature rights for a month. (You'll get them back on March 10th, 2012.)

I didn't say anything about my negative posting. Just his.

Also, I was kind of trying to imply that there's always room to improve even for someone who appears to have pretty decent scores.

How many times do you boo out in one day? You might have played 8,100 games, but you've only been a member since June of this year, so I'd bet you boo out a lot.

So if you subtract your boo outs, that leaves you with a lot less gameplays than you thought you had.

And also, some people just don't have good accuracy. I'll use myself as an example. I can't AAA anything I've got like 50 total in almost if not more than 22,000 games(although I could have a ton more I just don't care). I've come close to AAA'ing FMO's and VC's, but still have trouble nailing even difficults sometimes.

Timing comes more natural to some people than others, just keep yourself level headed and you'll find that it will help you play better anyway

Why not try one finger on your left hand and three fingers on your right? Something like z ,./

It'll greatly simplify what your right hand has to do while putting minimal stress on your left

Play Stepmania instead of FFR for a while then switch back to FFR. You'll be surprised.
