Really laggy lately

As of lately, has FFR been really laggy for anyone else?
For example, in the middle of a song, you're playing, the arrows are scrolling normal speed, then suddenly they stop scrolling for an extremely fast moment and you're down 3 arrows, without your combo anymore.

Anyone experiencing anything similar? And I've closed all applications cept firefox, put quality on low, and made sure no crazy ads were on the screen.

well for a start, u shouldnt use firefox, ffr and firefox dont match...also, the problem is more your computer, it happens to me occasionally but its my computer

It could be a weak internet connection. I have experienced this and I got a new cable modem.

Nope. Firefox is better than any other browser for this.

Nope, internet connection just slows down the song load time, and sometimes MP as well...


My suggestion would be to first, to download adblock plus from firefox. It blocks all common ads, and it has the option of blocking any image or flash item from any website, so it's very nice.

Next, I'd use the index-wrapped version of FFR, because it's a blank screen with no ads, but doesn't resize, like the .swf version of FFR does.

If you don't want to, don't use the index-wrapped version, but I HIGHLY suggest getting the adblocker, because it speeds up your computer anyway.

I don't think it's my computer, my Athlon 64 3200+ and 2 GB of ram shouldn't have problems running a mere flash game. I already have ABP installed.
I did use the index wrap and it is not giving me any lag now though...

Other flash apps such as ads probably. In XP I keep the task manager open with the CPU% descending and watch what jumps up when I lag. In the slow PC it's usually Flash or Windows Defender or some anti-virus product.
