    Annoying XP Stutter While Playing

What's that stupid thing that Windows XP does about once every half hour that stutters the machine for a couple of seconds? Always happens when I'm right in the middle of a full combo .

Before you say to me to shut down other apps or processes in the task manager, I'll say that this is a fresh XP install and fully updated with no extra added crap running while I'm playing.

Did you check Services under Administration in the Control Panel?

Maybe you need different graphics drivers or some hardware upgrade? If your XP is truly fresh and your hardware is adequate with the proper drivers, there should be no problem.

I highly doubt this is the problem with the XP. If this didn't happen before you reformatted I would suggest reformatting again after trying to re-install your drivers.
