FC Question

I just mashed out an FC on Club, thinking I would be closer to 99%, but it turns out I got a worse rank than I had before, so it didn't register as an FC in my level ranks. When I played it before I had good PA but it wasnt an FC.

So if someone were to get all perfects and miss the last note on a song, it would be impossible for them to get FFR to register an FC on that song unless they AAA'd it or something, cuz apparently your FC needs to be your best rank for it to count.

Is this a bug?

This happened to me today on Going With Spring Wind.

I got something like 23-0-1-2 and I erased my FC because my old score was not as good as this. I missed the second to last note.

It's technically a bug in my opinion, but admins don't feel it's necessary to dive into the coding to fix it.

trust me it really really sucks when it happens to revolutionary etude on the last 10 notes... and its a new record so dont feel to bad for yourself.

If you passed the song without misses it should be an FC.

but only the best score is registered on the database, so you have to beat your old non-FC score with a new FC score.

This happened to me on death piano. I fc'd it, but my non-fc score was better

while it would be nice if we could go through and verify and keep record of every gameplay everyone does, that just isn't realistic. the realistic solution is to only keep track of the highest score you get. and it's easily possible to get a higher non-FC score than a FC score (it's actually a lot HARDER to do with our combo based scoring system than the proposed accuracy based scoring for 3rd style)... it kinda sucks, but it's a small price IMO.
