Uh, he hardly "worked his ass off". I could write a script like this in about 30 minutes, including bug testing, if I wanted to. Probably less, because it's just sending info to a database and then sending off an email... if he wanted it to be more efficient, he would make the registered page query the database and log all of submissions onto it automatically, something that's also easily done.

EDIT : And no, don't ask me to help, I'm not going to. I don't want to.

look, i know this could have been aproached better
i tried making something like moogy described, but it was horrible, and flat out didnt work

if after the first season, i screw up, or it doesnt work, someone else do it, i feel like so many people are attacking me i have to spend time defending myself instead of working on the league.

hey LD.. fuck them.. dont worry about what anybody says about this.. all the people who are critiqueing this dont worry about them.... if they don't like it they don't have to participate.. keep working at your own pace and if you need more time, you have it... there is no deadline for this. Don't rush to get it finished.. everyone can wait patiently for you and whoever else you have helping you to finish..

well.. i dont just want to ignor these people, they have some good suggestions and things i need to improve on. I think the major thing people are complaining about now is time. The way i am setting this up is going to take more time than if a automated script did it. I did have one i was writeing, but after major beta testing, it just didnt work. So please dont complain untill saturday morning. I plan to send out the emails this friday night. I have friday off of school because they are removing aspestice, so please, be patcient.

well... i actually had one question about that.. when sending out these emails.. you receive a persons name you have to challenge??.. then you pick any song??.. and see who wins??... im guessing at all of that.. and if it was in an earlier post and i missed it.. sorry.. i make mistakes too..

everyone is guessing about how its gonna work and thats why everyone feels nervous about what LD is doing...all he has said is dont worry about it or were working on it...if he gave some definitive answers the questions would subside

im guessing it pretty close to being done since the emails will be going out friday... well.. it has to do something with the challange system.. thats a given.. that alone is enough for me to wait.. because that gives a basic on what this is about.. and also its a tournament.. so im guessing its going to be a bracket system thing.. single elimination maybe?... well.. whatever.. i will just wait and see how it plays out..

actually, it has nothing to do with the challenge system

after a long thought, we decided not to go with that, because the person that recived the challenge could always just retry by closeing the window, so, i decided to do it a different way. I know many people will think its werid, stupid, and unfair, but i think the oppisite, i will post a sample email in about 10 minuets

The league format is as follows. There will be 5 regular season matches, which will be randomly picked within your ablity level. You will be assigned a level to play. You can play it as many times as you want, but when you are satisfied with your score, take a screen shot with the following guidelines.

Put the following information in a notepad document:

Match number ie.(#xxxxxx)
Your Username
Your Opponents username
