Making a song?

My friend told me that you could make songs then add them to the game for other people to play. Is this possible, and if so, how do I make a song? Thanks in advance for the help.

My advice is to either step really short songs, or piano songs.

Piano songs are easy to follow, single notes get singe arrows, chords get hands, rolls get rolls. Really simple.


Don't try to make your first sim kick ass, because you'll most likely fail.
