so is there anyway to turn off those annoying spinning blue lights? or to take off the backgrounds? lol. I realllllly can't see the arrows with those things in the way.....

Yeah there is nothing you can do to change the synthlight files.
It's for historical value.
Deal with the offsync(badly)/backgrounds/jacks. ;P muahaha.
Or wait until you are better.
