Song Suggestions...

Well... Again, I don't know where to post this.

I know there's a song called Kire Kire Mayoi (section Rock, Page 5) which is pretty much just a copy of Hare Hare Yukai from The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya.
Would it be possible to add (or switch for) Hare Hare Yukai?

I'm sorry for asking for something even though I don't even know how long it even takes to make.
BUT, I think that everybody (If you guys like The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya) would enjoy playing it. Fun song to listen too I personally think.

one is an original that is copyrighted to the original composer or the company that created the anime.

the one in ffr is a remix... which, technically is still copyright to the original copyright holder, but the laws become kind of gray in that regard, so we take the risk of adding the remixes to the game because we have permission from the remixer. we do not have permission from the original copyright holders.

so, no, we can not add it.

Suzumiya Haruhi is famous enough to get her music stepped by some good simfile artists like Rebirth0. You can find them as single files in various places, or in packs like the Puritanical Penis Pack 2. GL searching.

You can find Melancholy of Suzumiya Soundtrack remixes all over the net. Find one, ask the artist, report to Tass, find a stepper, and get it stepped.

You can even ask Hirano Aya to get permission for you. I bet she may even actively help.

Kire Kire Mayoi is by IOSYS. It's quite lucky that IOSYS made a Touhou remix out of an anisong like this.

Hare Hare Yukai doesn't make a good stepfile at all

Rebirth stepped a pretty good version of it, it's in PPP2, and it's a pretty good file.

I've only seen the likes of which otakusdream showed me. Maybe it's that I have an extremely bad impression of it.

BRB checking out PPP2. ZOMG, I did not know it existed in that pack, never noticed. I need to play through all of my SMpacks once, I guess.

I curse otakusdream. I take that thing back about Hare Hare Yukai. Heh, I guess I should've tried to step it before I said anything. Props to Rebirth0.

We can use remixes that we have permission for FFR when we don't have permisson for original songs.

so if you have a song you want to step for FFR but you can't get permission, find good remixers and try to get permision from them.
