help improving my PA?

hey guys, I'm wondering if anyone out there has any suggestions on how to improve my PA.
I'd consider myself pretty good at ffr. I can FC BB revenge but get like 2200 perfects and 200 goods, which is pretty high. overall I just get a lot of goods. any ideas on what songs/techniques/other I should use to get less goods? I play on 2x speed btw, any slower and I can't read the music cuz the arrows don't move fast enough

I'm not sure if it will work for a 2.0 player, but this worked for me on 1.5. I just slowly worked on AAA's. Starting with simple crap like Trip to the Moon and Skellybones. Once I got the hang of those, I went for things like Snowflakes and 8-bit Daydreamer. I just kept going up in difficulty until now, where I can SDG Survive. I suggest you do the same. Take it slow though, at least a few days on whatever difficulty you can AAA without too much work, then just move up.

Practice Stepmania, it's meant for PA.

True. Stepmania has an extra arrow rating, Marvelous. Marvelous has a timing window even stricter than FFR's "Perfect," so practicing SM will definitely help. One thing, though: the framerate on SM is much better than that of FFR. After playing SM for a while and coming back to FFR, you'll be disoriented for some time, but you should be able to adjust.

That does work- TRUST ME. I used to have a horrible PA, worse than most new players. ._.

When I wasn't on SM, I was testing my PA on really REALLY easy songs- like Power and Excite Bike. Then, I just worked my way up from there. I can AAA Very Difficult songs now! xD

Playing Stepmania is a good way to improve PA, just don't play TOO much. I play Stepmania WAY more than FFR; But I'm too comfortable with the frame rate and hitting milliseconds before the receptors to get a marvelous to have exceptional PA on FFR.

I played SM a lot. I AAA VCs now. Don't necessarily play j7, it pisses me off more than anything. Just work on MA on easy stuff, then work your way up. You'll improve much quicker with SM than with FFR.

SM helps your FFR ability, or at least it does for me.
FFR kills you SM ability, or at least it does for me.

you need to whore an fmo song cuz pushing your arms to the max can increase everything from accuracy to speed.
