Last I checked every 50k points in a song earns 1 credit.

Not sure how it get's rounded though.
Max per song is 40 no matter what though, I feel it should be raised to 50 or so now with the amount of songs with massive combo and such.

score/50,000=credit amt. I never get tired of saying it. It would be cool if they didn't have a cap though. You'd get like 100 credits on Blue Army.

I agree with this. Other than possibly reducing the overall worth of credits, I can't see why the credits you earn from a song should have a cap.

Because once the credit system is a little less prone to exploding, the potential exists to start offering more than just the secret genre in exchange for credits. I remember talk of buying subscription time, or maybe even merchendise with credits.

Regardless, if anything really substantial is ever going to be available for credits, they have to at least attempt to limit how large a total people can rack up easily.

I still remember the time when they increased the cap from 25 and there wasn't a cap for a few days. People were getting like 70 on the big combo songs. =)

It means that you cant get that amount of credits. So if you get the amount of points for 31 credits, you will end up with 30 or 32 credits.
